Athenaswordsback — Athena's Swords in Bonus Play in God of War II.

Those were the dual battle-swords that Athena was seen wielding at the end of God of War II. She clashed them with Kratos, who wielded the Blade of Olympus at the time, as she stopped him from killing Zeus. When you wore Athena's Costume in Bonus Play, Kratos' Blades of Athena were replaced with Athena's Swords, however, they acted and did damage the same way.

Trivia

Athena's Swords were quite powerful, as they were able to withstand the Blade of Olympus, without being damaged.
When Athena carried her swords, they were placed on her hips when they were not used in battle. But with the Bonus Costume, the blades were placed on her upper back, like Kratos' own blades.
It was unlikely that the dual blades were connected with chains as that feature was only shown in the Bonus Costume and was considered non-canon.
