were a group of skilled, agile warriors, obviously led by the swordsman Danaus.

Danaus' tribe sought to capture the Ambrosia nectar of Asclepius, and its healing abilities, to rescue their livestock from illness. During an encounter with Alrik and the barbarians from the east, who sought after the Ambrosia to save his father from illness, Danaus was beheaded by Alrik, and Alrik's barbarians presumably defeated the rest of Danaus' forces.
