The Fortress of Athens is a large fortified structure that sits high above the docks of the city of Athens.

It is where the city's main gates are, but are destroyed as Kratos arrives in the city. Kratos then makes his way up and through the fortress, fighting off hordes of enemies, including Medusa, who he encounters in the fortress' warehouse.
