The God of War: Origins Collection (known as God of War Collection – Volume II in Europe) was first announced at the Sony press conference at E3 2011. The collection is a remastered port of the two PSP installments in the series: God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The collection was released by Ready at Dawn on Blu-ray disc on September 13, 2011.

Release[]

The Origins Collection features high-definition resolutions (1080p), anti-aliased graphics locked in at 60 frames per second, DualShock 3 and Trophies. Unlike the God of War Collection, the Origins Collection supports Stereoscopic 3D, the first God of War release to support the feature. The collection features a total of 72 trophies: 36 for each game with a platinum for each.

The God of War - Game Directors Live documentary (previously included with the God of War: Ghost of Sparta preorder package) and the Kratos Legionnaire costume is also included with the God of War: Origins Collection.
