The Island of Creation is the place where all life began, according to legend. It's located at the edge of the world. It is home to the Sisters of Fate, and is one of the most heavily guarded of all places, as any who can slay the sisters can change their fate and can control time itself.

When the universe first appeared there was nothing but Chaos. Eventually came Nyx and together they created the world. They wished to survey their work so they created the Isle of Creation and from it Gaia was born. So she wouldn't be alone Uranus came forth and they joined together and Gaia gave birth to the Titans. The titans would rule until the Sisters of Fate proved more powerful on the island and the titans left.

When the Titans created the rest of the world, the world became more and more crowded, and the Island began to drift towards the edge of the world. Cronos gave the Sisters the Steeds of Time to pull the island so it would not fall off the edge of the world and to sway the sisters in his favor. After Zeus came to be in charge, many heroes attempted to change their fate by venturing onto the island, but because of all the defenses, none had ever made it through and died. Eventually, Theseus would become Keeper of the Horses in service of Zeus.

Eventually however, Kratos arrives on the island to change his fate. He kills Theseus and takes the key. Kratos then proceeds to connect the Island to the fortress. He then returns to the island and makes his way through the Temple of Lahkesis. After that, he makes his way through the Bog of the Forgotten and the Lowlands. He then falls into the Great Chasm and speaks with Atlas. After that, he reaches the Palace of the Fates and locates the Temple of the Fates. There, he kills the Sisters of Fate, and eventually takes control of the island and the Threads of Fate he now possibly has the power of Time control.
