In Greek myth the Nyads were Nymphs who preside over bodies of fresh-water, and were the daughters of Poseidon.

God of WarEdit

In God of War, Nyads are found in the Flooded Passage of Challenge of Poseidon in Pandora's Temple. By catching these girls and kissing them, Kratos will receive a special gift of either a Gorgon Eye or a Phoenix Feather. In the God of War Collection, the "Splash" trophy is earned for kissing the Nyad.
