A theory...[]

I was just now playing GoW3 and I came to the part where Kratos tells Daedalus that Icarus is dead. But, if you think about it, that may not necessarily be true. Yes, Kratos tore the wings off Icarus' back and he fell into the pit of Tartarus, but after defeating the Sisters of Fate, Kratos literally rewound time, meaning the events of GoW2 never actually happened. So, therefor, Icarus could possibly still be alive, right? Logic says it's possible. The same goes for Theseus, Perseus, the Last Spartan, and even the Sisters themselves. Wouldn't Kratos have unkilled them all by rewinding time? Ghost Leader 11:08, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

I've considered this theory as well, but I doubt that we will ever recieve a clear answer to it. It is possible that by going back in time, Kratos undid the deaths of people such as Icarus, but I doubt that his killing of the Sisters was undone. The reason why I say this is because, in the context of Greek myth, they are associated with time itself. Manas101 20:06, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

What is happening here is a time paradox: if Kratos undid Icarus' death, it means that his wings were never ripped out of his back, but, without obtaining the wings, Kratos would have never reached the Temple of the Fates, and he wouldn't have travelled back in time. Thereby, if he doesn't rewinds time, Icarus actually dies, allowing Kratos to rewind time, undo Icarus' death, and start my paragraph again.

The same goes for everybody Kratos killed in the Island of Creation, and all the things and actions that allowed him to reach the sisters. GabrielPacia 01:32, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

They're all dead now. Poseidon's flood made sure of that. Sol Invictus 01:48, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Umm....Kratos...is now the controller of time.....yes he did go back in time...but it's different....in the past...the sisters...icarus...and all the people he killed don't exist anymore..and the wings...remain cuz it's from a different future
