Items: Item's are special character enhancements that are triggered within the game by pressing the L2 button. Items are utilized in every multiplayer mode. Each Item enhances/buffs a characters ability for a given period of time and then require a cooldown time before the player can use the item again. Items are very important because they offer an "escape" property when triggered. This escape property helps one get away from being pressured, cornered, or dominated by other players and can be activated during the middle of a combo thus stopping the assault dead in it's tracks. When the item is triggered thus activating the escape componenet, the character is given a fraction of a second of invincibility. Use your items wisely because most take at least a second to cool down for a second use. The Cooldown Reduction stat in your the character legend helps reduce the time it takes for an item to be cooled down. Each item can be ranked up two times. Each item maxes out at Rank 3. Each time an item is ranked up a new buff is given. Each God offers 4 different items for a champion to choose from. Choose wisely and watch your enemies fall at your feet and blood and glory will be yours!!!
**It is important to note that each item is unlocked depending on your Champions level. After unlocking each item one must purchase the unlocked item using XP points attained throughout the multiplayer modes.
Instantly activates invulnerability. Creates a radial shockwave that disables enemy blocks for 8 seconds. Movement speed: +20%. Duration: 12 seconds. Cooldown: 67 seconds. (Rank 3)
Eye of the Wolf
Instantly activates invulnerability. Creates a protective barrier of fire that blocks a single incoming attack. Shield detonates for high damage after 6 seconds or on impact. Cooldown: 80 seconds. (Rank 3)
Wall of Flame
Create a barrier of flame in front of you that burns any opponents who try to pass through. Increases your physical attack buff for a short duration. Cooldown: 69 seconds (Rank 3).
Hades' Alignment Items
Escape into the shadows and become invisible to enemy players. Remain invisible for 12 seconds. You will reappear when near enemies or when attacking. Cooldown: 59 seconds. (Rank 3)
Grant unlimited weapon speical cooldown for 9 seconds. Cooldown: 65 seconds (Rank 3).
Become invincible as you transform into a swirling mist for 4 seconds. Increases speed and gains health from nearby enemies. Cooldown: 69 seconds (Rank 3).
Release a shockwave of debilitating energy that stuns and curses all nearby opponents. Increases physical and elemental attack buff for a short duration. Cooldown: 75 seconds. (Rank 3).
Poseidon's Alignment Items
Cloak of Boreas
Create a powerful ice shield that regenerates magic, but will burst on single attack.,Now explodes on impact. Duration: 7 seconds. Cooldown: 64 seconds (Rank 3)
Push all enemies away for 7 seconds and increased healing for yourself and any nearby teammates for the duration. Cooldown: 84 sseconds (Rank 3).
Salvation of Atlantis
Creates a magical barrier in front of you, and provides escape from battle. Enemies who come in contact with the barrier are damaged and stunned, while teammates are buffed with extra defense. Increased barrier time and grants defensive buff to yourself as well. Cooldown: 59 seconds (Rank 3).
Breath of Amphitrite
Become an invincible mist of frost that slows any enemies who come into contact with you. Speeds up allies that it touches. Greatly increases time spent in mist form. Cooldown: 79 seconds (Rank 3).
Allows teleportation as many times as possible within 2.5 seconds. Cooldown: 55 seconds (Rank 3).
Aegis of Zeus
Create an impenetrable shield that blocks all attacks and deflects light attacks. Duration 3.5 seconds. Cooldown: 67 seconds (Rank 3).
Create a shockwave of electricity that silences all nearby opponents for a shortwhile. Maximum increased magic attack. (Rank 3)
Relics: Relics are passive buffs given to a character on every mode when certain conditions are met. Each relic has special buff properties that are unique to whichever God one chooses. Each relic can be leveled up 2 times using Skill points. Skill points are attained each time one levels up their character.

On kill or assist heal nearby allies and yourself by +16HP or +8HP respectively. TotG: requires 5 beast kills to heal. (Rank 3)

Magic: Magic is powers given to a champion that are unique to whichever god your champion is aligned to. Magic is used in every multiplayer mode. Magic can be selected in the "abilities" section under "champion" in the multiplayer main menu. There are four types of magic to choose from per god. Each magic has unique properties and can deal massive damage, steal health, or freeze opponents. Magic is triggered by pressing the R2 button. In order to use magic the second bar beneath the health bar must be filled with the required amount before being triggered. In order to fill magic one must either gain it by moving over blue fountains found throught the various multiplayer maps or by taking it from enemies in various ways. Some enemies like the "Fire Talos" and "Wraiths" provide magic upon death (usually via brutal kill). Each magic requires a "cost"that is the amount of magic required to trigger the use of it. There are three costs for magic 50, 75, and 100. If a magic costs 50 that means when the blue bar is full you can use the magic 2x before having to refill. It is important to use whatever magic suites your game play style and also to use it at advantageous times. Magic can be ranked up 2 times. Each time a magic is ranked up new properties can be unlocked for the magic which include higher damage, addition of a new stat, duration of the magic, and reduced cost to name a few.
Ares Alignment Magic
Fist of Ares
A quick and short ranged powerful melee attack that causes an explosion sending players flying out of the arena or bouncing off walls. Plants a mine on successful hits, causing your victim to launch again after 2 seconds. Cost: 50 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Quickly leap high into the heavens, allowing rapid movement for up to 6 seconds. Upon landing, a massive explosion launches all nearby enemies into the air. The explosion now breaks enemy blocking for 7 seconds if it hits. Press R2 to land early. Cost: 50 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Become the Demigod of war. Your basic attacks will be replaced by powerful elemental attacks for the duration. Defense and physical power are greatly increased. You will burn all enemies who come into contact with you. Duration 9 seconds. Cost: 75 magic (Rank 3).
Unleash a fiery explosion upon your enemies. Earn a second devastating explosion by successful completion of a minigame. Burn enemies hit by the explosion. Cost: 100 magic (Rank 3).
Poseidon Alignment Magic
Creates a quick, large powerful blast of ice that greatly slows and bounces enemies. Cost 50 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3)
Summon a longer lasting vortex of hazardous ice energy that will greatly slow, damage, and toss your opponent. Increased radius of attack. Cost: 75 magic (Rank 3).
Tide of Redemption
Emit a massive energy field that stuns opponents but heals all friendly players within 40 meters. Longer lasting heal regenerates additional health over 8 seconds and slightly buffs defense. Cost: 75 magic (Rank 3).
Emit a powerful freezing nova that affects a greater area. Cost: 100 magic (Rank 3).
Zeus Alignment Magic
Summon a powerful bolt of lightning to create an explosion beneath you. Your lightning storm pulls enemies towards the center of the lighting strike before it hits making it more difficult to escape. Greatly increase the size and radius of your lightning. Cost: 100 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Reckoning of Zeus
Summon a powerful bolt of electricty that shocks and stuns all enemies. Damages within a large radius. The bolt will explode afterwards causing additional damage. The final explosion now silences anyone whom it hits. Duration: 4 seconds. Cost: 50 magic Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Project a powerful lightning cone directly in front of you, electrifying and causing massive damage to anyone it hits. A final shockwave will now send enemies flying. Duration: 4 seconds. Cost: 75 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Channel bursts of lightning to electrocute enemies. Alternate between L1 and R1 to lengthen attack. Uninterruptable. Cost: 100 magic (Rank 3).
Hades Alignment Magic
Execute a large and powerful grab attack that will steal health from your target and return 50% back to you. Cost: 50 magic. Uses: 2 (Rank 3)
Summon a large wave of souls on your nearest target, repeatedly stunning and launching them. Cost 50 magic Uses: 2 (Rank 3).
Envelop yourself in a vortex of negative energy, applying a strong curse that drains health from all nearby enemies. Cost: 100 magic (Rank 3).
Summon rotting arms from Tartarus to slam enemies to the ground. Steal life from enemies hit by the arms. Cost: 100 magic (Rank 3).
